Le Mans 24h 1963: John Surtees and Willy Mairesse had won the race on the Nürburgring four weeks earlier, but were luckless at Le Mans. The Ferrari 250P s/n 0812 caught fire after a refueling stop while it was running in front and burned out completely

Nürburgring 1000 km 1963Confusion at the start but later, in the race fortune turned to the Scuderia Ferrari: The 250P No. 110 won with Surtees/ Mairesse, meanwhile No. 111, retired. Scarfiotti - co-driver was Michael Parkes - crashed at Aremberg. The cars were probably s/n 0812 (# 110) and s/n 0814 (# 111)
