Ferrari only concours spanning the length of Bond Street in the heart of London, during
the evening of 7 June. With co-operation from Westminster City Council and the
Metropolitan Police, the street was closed to through traffic from 6-00pm to 9-00pm to

Maserati is a company with an even longer and more chequered history than Ferrari,
who were one of their main rivals on the racetracks of the world during the nineteen
fifties, and in the showrooms of high performance cars during the sixties and seventies.
The paths taken by the two companies were long and varied, but eventually through the
Fiat empire they became stable mates in July 1997, when Ferrari acquired 50% of

The 2001 season of the Ferrari Challenge is about to start very soon. 31 participants
have been enrolled for the ”Central Europe” group, including only two of the old F355
Challenge cars while the rest of the pack will consist of 360 Challenge. As in previous
years, there will be two categories: a ”competition” category for very experienced drivers
– of who many have a motor racing pedigree – and a ”gentlemen” category for drivers
