A Ferrari gathering was organised in Valenza during the evening of 16 June, part of which was to celebrate the inauguration of a photographic exhibition of the work of Carlo Lenti "La Ferrari". The event was called "La Ferrari di Ferrari", and featured cars old and new from the Maranello stable, including the 1953 Mille Miglia winning 340 MM Vignale Spider s/n  0289AM, and a 250 GT LWB Td F Berlinetta s/n 0767GT, amongst numerous other examples of the marque. Invited guests featured many well known names in the Ferrari world, including Giannino Marzotto, Gino Munaron, Clay Regazzoni, Mauro Forghieri, and Sergio Scaglietti.
