Select Images
Time to select the images, either one at a time or a range of pictures. Since we want to import all pictures, we
press "Ctrl" and "A" on our keyboard or press the button "Select All" on the toolbar. We drag the images to the
StudioLine workspace (indicated by a transparent mini thumbnail) - and after about a second per picture,
StudioLine will have stored high quality originals in the Image Archive and displays thumbnail pictures in
surprising quality.
Organizing Images and adding Captions
While Bjoern writes captions for each image, we organize images into folders, using simple drag & drop.
In only 10 minutes we finished 4 album pages with 263 images. We might as well help Bjoern along by
creating two draft galleries for him. We'll show you next, how that is done.
Browse and Load On the QuickStep screen, we click on "Browse and Load".
Select Device
The StudioLine Explorer for "My Computer" opens. Select the device containing the images, e.g., your DigiCam
/ Chip or a Photo CD. In our case, we select drive "J:". Immediately, 263 images from the Ferrari Maserati
Racing Days @ Lime Rock, Connecticut event start displaying. We could also switch to a view showing only
text information for each image or a combination view.
