On May 6, the Piazza Vittoria in Brescia turned into a Mekka for
classic car enthusiasts again when the scrutineering for the Mille
Miglia took place. The 375 participating teams and the thousands of
spectators had a lot of fun despite the crazy weather that ranged from
enduring cold rain via thunderstorms to a blue sunny sky and

today in Valencia, with Gollin and Cappellari finishing once again ahead of their

For a fifth consecutive time, an Audi R8 has won the "Petit Le Mans” event at Road
Atlanta (USA), one of the highlights of the American Le Mans Series (ALMS). On the
demanding track near Atlanta, JJ Lehto/Marco Werner and Johnny Herbert & Pierre
Kaffer secured a 1-2 victory for Team ADT Champion Racing, and in doing so clinched
the Manufacturers’ and Teams’ titles early in the LMP1 category. JJ Lehto and Marco
Werner had already wrapped up the Drivers’ title. Audi have won the Manufacturers’,
Teams’ and Drivers’ titles in the top class of the ALMS for a fifth consecutive time.
Following an exciting opening stage to the race, Lehto and Werner took the lead at Road
Atlanta at the beginning of the second hour and kept it until the finish. The sister car lost
a total of three laps due to a collision with a GT car and an excursion into the gravel.
