Ferrari at the Goodwood Motor Circuit Revival Meeting

Goodwood, September 18-20, 1998

The Revival Meeting at the Goodwood Motor Circuit near Chichester in West Sussex, England, is believed to feature several attractions for the Ferrarista:

The track, site of the Goodwood Tourist Trophy in the 1960's, will see the former Formula 1 worldchampion Damon Hill piloting Sir Anthony Bamford's 250 GTO s/n 4399GT, the very car in which Damon's father Graham won the abovementioned Trophy back in 1963.

There are rumors that there might be a total number of five 250 GTOs attending this event, all of them to be driven by famous names in motor racing. Furthermore, Paul Vestey will bring his dark blue ex-Rob Walker 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione s/n 2119GT ("7 SPA") and hand over the wheel to Stirling Moss. The latter was taken by this very car to 1st in the 1960 Goodwood Tourist Trophy.
