Max has built a world-wide reputation as the Managing Director of RM Sotheby’s (previously RM Auctions)
European operation, establishing a London-based headquarters in 2006. He started his career with Bonhams
in 1997 and also established a Monaco base for CARS Europe, before joining RM Sotheby’s as Managing
Director at only 29 years old. During his decade-long stewardship of RM Europe, he has been auctioneer at
over 80 international auctions, which grossed no less than $1.5 billion in sales and has sold nine of the 20
most valuable cars ever sold at auction. Furthermore, Max has sold more than $250 million in private treaty
sales.

vehicles of exceptional quality available for discreet private viewing. The company is offering a range of
