Yellowbird is equipped with a 3.4-liter twin-turbocharged flat six

Salon Privé presented by Aviva Private Clients celebrated its 20th
anniversary in style at its regular venue of Blenheim Palace
between 27-31 August 2025. The palace wasn’t looking its usual
impressive self, as a multi-million-pound roof renovation project
meant that much of its splendour was hidden by plastic sheeting
clad scaffolding. Similarly, the normally bright green lawns looked
a rather sad yellow due to the particularly dry summer. |
The catalogue features over 75 highly desirable models from
across motoring history, alongside a selection of sought-after
memorabilia items, with latest entries led by supercars from The
Aleggria Collection. This prestigious ensemble of automobiles is
offered from a single private owner who has curated an
exceptional group of best-of-category cars. The group is led by an

The fifth edition of the British Motor Show, for 2025 with title
sponsor Cazoo, was held at its regular venue of the Farnborough
International Exhibition & Conference Centre, situated on the east
perimeter of Farnborough Airport, between 15-17 August. Building
on the success of the previous shows, the 2025 edition was once
again further expanded, to provide even more variety in the
features, displays and entertainment for all age groups. |
Gooding Christie’s presented the Stan Lucas Collection Auction
on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the late collector’s Lucas
Classic Tires in Long Beach, California, drawing the focus of the
global prewar automotive collecting community in what will surely
be remembered as a market-defining moment. The auction house
sold 100% of the 99 lots on offer, presented entirely without
reserve, for a total of $33.9 million, far surpassing expectations. |
The 14th running of the Concours of Elegance presented by A.
Lange & Sohne was held between 05-07 September 2025 at
Hampton Court Palace, its regular home since 2017. The setting
for the concours were the gravel driveways that intersperse the
immaculately maintained Fountain Gardens to the rear of the
palace. The event was held in pleasantly warm and bright late
summer weather, providing a pleasant ambience for the 15,000
attendees over the course of the weekend. |
RM Sotheby’s has announced new consignments for the 19th
annual Hershey sale, including a 1908 Panhard et Levassor Type
Q Racing, 1931 Marmon Sixteen Two-Passenger Coupe by
LeBaron, and a 1935 Auburn 851 Custom Speedster. Held at the
Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on Oct. 8-9, this
annual sale features a selection of veteran, Brass Era, and
post-war classics, as well as a selection of weird and wonderful
automobiles. |
The FestivalCar 2025 Concours d’Elegance, the international
event dedicated to classic cars, has just ended. Stellantis’ Italian
brands distinguished themselves with numerous prizes awarded
to privately-owned vehicles that entered the competition, while the
Lancia Flaminia Loraymo, a one-of-a-kind model in the world, part
of the Stellantis Heritage collection and usually exhibited at the
Turin HUB, received a particularly warm welcoming. |
Alfa Romeo enjoyed a memorable three days, a weekend when
Turin was transformed into the capital of the automotive world by
the Motor Show, the "Art of Speed" exhibition at MAUTO –
National Automobile Museum and the Revigliasco Torinese Car
Festival. The 33 Stradale succeeded in exciting the fans, its
presence a unique dialogue between past and future, tradition
and innovation. |
The 2025 edition of the Goodwood Revival Meeting was held over
the weekend of 12-14 September, once again attracting
enormous crowds to the picturesque Sussex circuit for another
sell-out meeting. This was despite somewhat inclement weather
in the days leading up to the event, and also over the weekend,
which made the car park fields somewhat quaggy in places,
much to the dismay of those who became bogged down. |
The Bonhams "Audrain" Auction, held October 3, 2025 at the
International Tennis Hall of Fame, achieved a total of $10.3
million with a sell-through rate of 85% across 47 lots. The
annual sale drew an enthusiastic audience as spirited bidding
created a lively atmosphere throughout the auction. |
Ferrari has chosen Capital Markets Day 2025, as the occasion to
reveal the production-ready chassis and components of its new
electric car, the first full-electric model in the history of the
Prancing Horse. This model is a milestone in the brand’s
multi-energy strategy, which encompasses internal combustion
engines, HEV and PHEV powertrains, and now, fully electric
drive. |

RM Sotheby’s returned to the Hershey Lodge for its 19th annual
sale, held during the Antique Automobile Club of America’s
(AACA) Eastern Division Fall Meet. Over the two-day event, RM
Sotheby’s achieved $13.79 million in total sales with 97 percent
of all lots finding new homes, drawing a packed room of bidders
and underscoring Hershey’s place as one of the most important
gatherings in the collector car calendar. |
autoClássico, one of Portugal’s major classic car shows, was
held at its regular venue of the city’s Exponor exhibition centre,
close to the airport. Over the weekend of 3-5 October 2025 it
attracted some 40,000 visitors. As with many classic car shows
and events in 2025 there was a celebration of the 75th
anniversary of Formula One, with displays in the main hall. |
Generating unprecedented pre-sale interest from around the
world, The Tailored for Speed Collection was one of the most
eagerly anticipated single-owner collections to ever be offered in
Europe. And it didn’t disappoint when the cars went under the
hammer in Zürich on 11 October, with the collection smashing its
pre-sale high estimate, grossing CHF 69,672,12. |

Bonhams returned for The Zoute Sale in Knokke-Heist, held
during the Zoute Grand Prix, a premier automotive and lifestyle
event appealing to car enthusiasts from all over Europe and
beyond. October 12th saw strong results especially for Ferraris.
Marking its 13th anniversary, this year's auction attracted
record-breaking interest, with over 1,200 registered bidders from
36 countries and more than 1,000 attendees in the room. On the
rostrum, auctioneer James Knight drew bids from the crowd and
telephones. |

Over four days, the event drew approximately 238,000 visitors —
its highest attendance to date. The circuit welcomed nearly 700
racing cars in action, while around 9,200 collector vehicles filled
the display areas around the track, with even more gathered in
the surrounding car parks. These cars represented 220
international clubs and more than 80 manufacturers. The
competition covered an expanded historical spectrum: the six
traditional racing grids were joined by three additional support
“plateaux”, featuring cars ranging from 1923 to 2010. |

best ever sale at Motorworld, grossing €26,078,500 and making it
the most successful sale in its four year history. The 1996
Ferrari F50, was the top seller on the night. The Rosso Corsa
example was delivered new to Italy and was retained by its first
over for more than 20 years. |

consisting of four Alfa Romeo 6Cs lovingly cherished and
maintained by the late Alfa Romeo historian Angela Cherrett and

automotive community in the UK and Europe, the Cherretts were
active participants in many events, tours, and rallies throughout

The 43rd annual Auto e Moto d’Epoca show was held for the third
time at Bologna’s Fiere exhibition centre between 23-26 October
2025. The expansive classic vehicle exhibition encompassed
eleven halls of the complex, malls and the central concourse
arena. There were also further outdoor display and vendor areas
in the access roads between the halls. |
Thanks to the extraordinary result at the 8 Hours of Bahrain,
the last race of the season, Ferrari has taken the
Manufacturers’ title in the 2025 FIA World Endurance
Championship, 53 years after its last world title. The triumph
was twofold, with the FIA World Endurance Drivers’
Championship being taken by official drivers Alessandro Pier
Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi at the wheel of the
Ferrari – AF Corse 499P number 51, fourth at the chequered
flag. |
The undulating Mugello circuit in the Tuscan hills, to the north
of Florence, was the venue for the 2025 end of season Ferrari
Finali Mondiali. Just as had been the case with the 2024
edition at Imola, the event was blighted by rain, although not to
quite the same intensity. Nonetheless, it made for difficult
conditions, whether one was a driver, official, engineer or a
visitor. Despite the predominantly miserable weather there were
some 25,000 attendees over the course of the weekend. |

01 November 2025. The sale preceded the annual London to
Brighton Veteran Car Run, which was held on the Sunday. The
sale comprised of nine lots of automobilia, together with 64

The annual Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show was held at
its traditional venue of Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre
between 07-09 November 2025. Over the course of the three
days, the show attracted over 72,000 visitors to enjoy a nostalgic
trip down memory lane. They certainly had plenty to see, with
some 330 one-make or model car club displays running to over
3000 vehicles, including many long-lost marques, with others
ranging from microcars, through basic modes of travel ... |
The latest edition of the Classic Car Auction Yearbook for 2024 –
2025, sponsored by UBS, celebrated its 30th anniversary with a
further enlarged opus. It was presented by its founder and author,
Adolfo Orsi, on the opening evening of the Auto e Moto d’Epoca
Show in Bologna on 23 October 2025. The book covers the
auction period from 01 September 2024 to 31 August 2025,
incorporating the results from all the major auctions in Monterey,
California, during that month, they being the latest direction of the
classic car market. |
RM Sotheby’s has sold the first Gordon Murray Special Vehicles
S1 LM commission for 20.63 million during the 2025 Formula 1
Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix Weekend. The result surpasses
the Bugatti Chiron Profilée, the highest publicly verified sale of a
brand new supercar at auction, establishing the S1 LM as the
most expensive new car ever sold at auction, excluding charitable
sales. The sale on 21 November 2025 reflects the significance of
the S1 LM’s lineage, its rarity, and its direct connection to
Gordon Murray, the creator of the McLaren F1. |
