In 2025, the legendary Mille Miglia victory by Stirling Moss and
Denis Jenkinson will celebrate its 70th anniversary! The two pilots
were competing for Mercedes-Benz in a 300 SLR. At 7:22 a.m.
they rolled off the starting ramp in Brescia (hence the race
number 722) and after 10 hours, 7 minutes and 48 seconds they
had made it all the way to Rome and back. 1,000 miles at an
average speed of 157.651 km/h on public roads, an eternal
record! |
On 18 February 2024, the new “Ferrari One of a Kind” exhibition
at the Museo Enzo Ferrari in Modena was officially inaugurated.
The display celebrates the craftsmanship behind each unique
masterpiece that emerges from the Ferrari factory gates thanks
to the exclusive personalisation programme offered by the
company’s three Tailor Made centres in Maranello, New York and
Shanghai. Now open to the public, the exhibition reveals the
exclusivity of these one-of-a-kind cars, each expressing the
personality, taste and desires of individual Ferrari owners. |

The Museo Lamborghini (Lamborghini Museum) fronts part of the
Lamborghini factory on the SP255 Via Modena in Sant’Agata
Bolognese, between Nonantola and San Giovanni in Persiceto,

modern glass fronted structure first opened in 2001 to present a
timeline of the company’s production for enthusiasts of the
marque, being updated and expanded in 2016, to provide more
exhibition space as the range of cars increased through the

The latest edition of the Classic Car Auction Yearbook for 2024 –
2025, sponsored by UBS, celebrated its 30th anniversary with a
further enlarged opus. It was presented by its founder and author,
Adolfo Orsi, on the opening evening of the Auto e Moto d’Epoca
Show in Bologna on 23 October 2025. The book covers the
auction period from 01 September 2024 to 31 August 2025,
incorporating the results from all the major auctions in Monterey,
California, during that month, they being the latest direction of the

Darrell Westfaul owned Ferrari 166 Mille Miglia 0046M for forty
years, buying it as his first car when he was a twenty-one year
old student at the University of Alabama. What followed were
decades of searching for its past owners and its history with

2026. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t feel inclined to cooperate
with this anniversary, as Intermittent rain on the first two days
turned to virtually persistent rain on the final day, with a chilly for
June temperature. |
Mercedes-Benz Classic provided memorable moments spanning
the ages last weekend during the brand’s first appearance at “The
Aurora” in southern Sweden. The highlights were two pairs of
vehicles that bridged the gap between history and the present
day: the Mercedes-Benz W 125 Silver Arrow from 1937 met the
Mercedes-Benz Vision EQ Silver Arrow concept car from 2018.
The Mercedes-Benz C 111-II from 1970 was paired with the
Mercedes-Benz Vision One-Eleven from 2023. |

McLaren F1 GTR built to the highly developed 1996 specification
and one of only two Short-Tail factory “XP” prototypes, alongside
chassis 01R, the car that won the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans
outright. Finished in Blood Red with bold yellow “96 GTR”
graphics, 10R is the only McLaren F1 GTR to wear this
factory-created design. Graphic, unmistakable, and entirely of its
era, it remains one of the most recognizable McLarens ever built. |
The second edition of the Royal Automobile Club Concours was
held at the club’s Woodcote Park Estate, adjacent to the Epsom

The 2026 edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented

Mans winning trio of Ford GT40s in attendance, together with a
Ferrari 412 P that was part of the trio of Ferrari P cars that filled

The Brooklands Museum complex celebrated the centenary of
the first motor race in Great Britain bearing the title ‘Grand Prix’
on Saturday 08 August 2026. Fittingly, it was at the then
operational Brooklands circuit that this took place on 07 August
1926. Thus, on Friday 07 August, exactly a century later, as a
prelude to the public day on the Saturday, some 120 Grand Prix
cars of all ages, spanning over 50 different marques, formed up
on the old Start-Finish Straight at 2.00pm, |
The 2026 Beaulieu Supercar Weekend was held on 01-02
August, presenting a broad range of machinery for the
delectation of visitors. With most of the United Kingdom in the
midst of another heatwave, albeit not debilitatingly so over the
weekend, the conditions were excellent for outdoor
entertainment. The fine weather, together with the attractions of
the Beaulieu Estate, and the New Forest in which it is situated,
brought thousands of visitors to the event. |
