The Guikas Collection sale, unquestionably one of the most
significant offerings of sports and competition cars to ever be
offered at auction, has expanded with the addition of two important
Ferrari race cars which brings the Collection to a total of 77 cars,
all offered without reserve. The two latest additions have taken to
the track at Circuit Paul Ricard in order for us to enjoy their
respective V12 and V8 soundtracks, so click through to watch and

Joining the group of important race cars is the final of 12 Ferrari 575 GTC examples made between 2003 and
2005. Of particular importance to collectors is the fact that this 2005 Ferrari 575 GTC, chassis 2224, is
considered to be the very last front-engine, V-12 race car built by the Ferrari factory and is a car that boasts
an extensive competition history over the 2005/6 seasons. Offered in the imposing black livery it competed in
when campaigned by the Rock Media Motors in the 2005 Italian GT Championship, the car competed at 15
rounds of the Championship and also entered the Brno Supercar 500, part of the 2005 FIA GT Championship,
where it placed 10th. With only 12 of these cars ever produced and with the car offered being the very last of
the great V12 competition Ferraris, this car is an important piece of Ferrari’s racing heritage (Estimate:
€3,000,000 - €4,000,000).
Powered by a 550 hp Ferrari F142 4.5-litre V-8 engine with sequential gearbox, the 2012 Ferrari 458 GTD is
another incredible Maranello competition car to go under the hammer alongside the 575 GTC. This example
raced in the Tudor United SportsCar Championship and finished an impressive 6th in class and 23rd overall at
the 2014 24 Hours of Daytona. This exciting racing Ferrari will go to its new owner with a Ferrari spare parts
catalogue and 458 Italia GT3 technical manual (Estimate: €400,000 - €500,000).
