Season Opener

On January 15th the Florida region of the Ferrari Owners Club held their annual gathering of Ferraris at St. Armand's Circle. The weather was cool and the sky was mostly overcast, but that didn't prevent approximately 45 owners from displaying their road cars on the beautifully landscaped park in the center for St. Armand's Circle in Sarasota, Florida. Next will be the Cavallino Classic in Palm Beach Florida

January in Florida brings the annual Cavallino Classic with two days of track action at Moroso Motorsports Park and a concourse show on the lawn at the beautiful Breakers Resort on Palm Beach. The 2005 event brings together classic Ferrari race cars and modern day street cars like the Enzo and the new F430. This years event has brought out a number of unique and interesting cars.

Maserati transfer of ownership from Ferrari to Fiat

Under the authority in Internal Revenue Code section 6331, the 1967 Ferrari 330 P4 Chassis Number: 0858 has been seized for nonpayment of internal revenue taxes due from Taxpayer. The property will be sold at public auction in Phoenix, AZ  March 3rd, 2005

Fifth place for the Maserati MC12 at the 12 Hour of Sebring

The F2005 is the fifty first single-seater built by Ferrari specifically to compete in the Formula 1 World Championship. The design, which bears the internal code number 656, represents Ferrari’s more exhaustive interpretation of the 2005 technical regulations. The main elements

Fiat announces that the ownership of Maserati, currently wholly owned by Ferrari, will be transferred as soon as practicable to Fiat. The move forsees that Alfa Romeo and Maserati will co-operate closely technically and commercially - particularly in important international markets.

Maserati made its return to racing in an official car in the United States, obtaining a good finishing position at the 53rd 12 Hours of Sebring. For the record, the race was won by the Kristensen - Werner - Letho crew driving the Audi R8.   The MC12 crewed by Andrea Bertolini/Fabrizio De Simone and Fabio Babini finished in fifth place in the GT1 category and ninth overall.

The debut race for the modified 575 GTC will take place on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 April at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Autodrome, Imola.  The Ferrari Corse Clienti department has made changes to the original version with the collaboration of the technical GT head, Maurizio Nardon. The aerodynamics were completely revised with the addition of a new splitter and air intake on the modified bonnet. These changes improve internal air flow.
