component production techniques, enabled through the use of
special, refined supplies. Standing out among these is work on
the fabric in the central panel of the seats with manual stitching
that adopts leather from the interior and applies thread obtained
from recycled tyres. |

The 2024 season will go down as one of the most successful in
Porsche's long-distance history: in just the second year with the
Porsche 963, the sports car manufacturer from Stuttgart won
seven of eight possible titles together with the works team
Porsche Penske Motorsport. The basis for this result was the
consistent improvement of the team structure as well as the work
on the reliability and performance of the around 515 kW (700 PS)
hybrid prototype. |
The eponymous Pagani Automobili S.p.A was founded by
Argentine-Italian Horacio Pagani in 1992, with the first production
car, the Zonda C12, being presented at the 1999 Geneva Motor
Show. This formed the backbone of production, with a number of
bespoke variants, through to the introduction of the Huayra model
in 2011, again at the Geneva Motor Show, with the production run
also containing a number of bespoke examples. |
Whereas the majority of museums feature a constant display
theme, the pair of Ferrari museums in Maranello and Modena ring
the changes with themed exhibitions through the course of the
year. Thus, there is always a good reason for a return visit. The
Ferrari Museum in Maranello also features its regular
amphitheatre-style display of Formula One cars, with the
entrance walls containing trophies and images of the drivers who
have won them through the years. |

Denis Jenkinson will celebrate its 70th anniversary! The two pilots
were competing for Mercedes-Benz in a 300 SLR. At 7:22 a.m.
they rolled off the starting ramp in Brescia (hence the race
number 722) and after 10 hours, 7 minutes and 48 seconds they
had made it all the way to Rome and back. 1,000 miles at an
average speed of 157.651 km/h on public roads, an eternal
record! |

The Museo Lamborghini is situated to the right of the main
entrance of the factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese, which is a
historic small town in the countryside, approximately mid way
between Bologna and Modena. A bonus of its location right on
the factory premises is that one will see cars being taken out on
test, and maybe even spot the odd prototype. The factory is on
the main SP 255, Via Modena, on the outskirts of the town, but
within walking distance of the historic centre, and is still the site
on which Ferruccio Lamborghini established the original factory in
1963. |

July, 2025. The gathering enjoyed pleasantly warm weather

good turnout of members and their Ferraris over the weekend.

members to exercise their cars on the circuit, which, as it did
last year, proved very popular. |
Salon Privé presented by Aviva Private Clients celebrated its 20th
anniversary in style at its regular venue of Blenheim Palace
between 27-31 August 2025. The palace wasn’t looking its usual
impressive self, as a multi-million-pound roof renovation project
meant that much of its splendour was hidden by plastic sheeting
clad scaffolding. Similarly, the normally bright green lawns looked
a rather sad yellow due to the particularly dry summer. |

created in collaboration with Canossa, presented, on October 17
through 19, 2025 precisely this type of vehicle. |
The undulating Mugello circuit in the Tuscan hills, to the north
of Florence, was the venue for the 2025 end of season Ferrari
Finali Mondiali. Just as had been the case with the 2024
edition at Imola, the event was blighted by rain, although not to
quite the same intensity. Nonetheless, it made for difficult
conditions, whether one was a driver, official, engineer or a
visitor. Despite the predominantly miserable weather there were
some 25,000 attendees over the course of the weekend. |
