 Luigi Chinetti the 3 times Le Mans Winner, ended his active racing carrier driving this car and finishing in 4th position in the 5th Carrera Panamericana together with an amateur-codriver. He was not only a great endurance racer winning Le Mans, 24h Spa and the Carerra Panamericana, he was a part of the Ferrari successes by selling more than half of all Ferraris built in the early days to the United States and was the founder of the well know "North American Racing Team" - "NART".
