Nürburgring 1000 km 1962

Nürburgring 1000 km 1962: The young Italian talents Lorenzo Bandini and Giancarlo Baghetti drove the Dino 196SP s/n 0804 and retired.Nürburgring 1000 km 1962: This race was the first motorsport event, that photographer Rainer W. Schlegelmilch visited. It was won by Phil Hill and Olivier Gendebien in the Dino 196SP s/n 0790.Nürburgring 1000 km 1962: Phil Hill and Olivier Gendebien won with the Dino 246SP s/n 0790. It was Ferrari’s first victory in the race since 1953.

Nürburgring 1000 km 1962: The Rodriguez brothers, Pedro and Ricardo, drove Ferrari's first V8, the Dino 268SP s/n 0806 in it's debut race. The Mexicans retired, because Pedro spun into a ditch. Nürburgring 1000 km 1962: The 250TR s/n 0742TR was fitted with special bodywork made by Gachnang from Switzerland. It was driven by Gachnang himself and Grob to a 17th place.

Nürburgring 1000 km 1962: It looks like a 250GTO, but the car that finished 2nd overall was entered in the prototype category. The Ferrari 3673SA was powered by a 4-Litre Testa Rossa engine and driven by Mairesse/ Parkes.
