Note:
Although
of English origin, the first owner of this car, John
McFadden, ordered a LHD-car for continental driving from
Ferrari and refused to accept when Ferrari wanted to sell
him 0227EL in RHD-configuration. Therefore Ferrari
delivered him another car, this time LHD, which was
already stamped 0255EU but restamped to 0227EL (and with
the original chassis 0227EL happened the same vice versa.
This is why these two cars have swapped identities. |
