Ferrari to be the featured marque at the

aaa 1998, Berlin Germany

October, 10, 1998

Information

Aside of the world's most important automobile exposition, the IAA held at Frankfurt every two years, Germany has another important biennial automotive exhibition: the "Allgemeine Automobil-Ausstellung" (or in short: "aaa"), which is hosted at Germany's capital Berlin.

In 1998, the aaa will be held at the Berlin exposition area between October 17 and 25.
Michael Schumacher's engagement with Ferrari in Formula One has generated a widespread interest in Ferrari in Germany; this is for sure not the only, but at least one of the reasons which lead the Berlin exposition managers to the idea to reserve one of the many halls (78.133 square metres in total) for the marque of the prancing horse.

Ferrari Deutschland GmbH of Wiesbaden, the factory subsidiary German importer, will present not only the current model range, but also a bunch of famous classic examples and Formula One cars, all to be found in hall 7.2. The display will probably include - among others - a 250 GT Spider California SWB, a 275 GTB Longnose and a 312 PB. A small conference room for talks with clients and prospect buyers will be available in Ferrari Deutschland's huge racecar transporter.

Since Ferrari's takeover of Maserati, Ferrari Deutschland GmbH has also become the German Maserati importer; hence there will also be a small display of Maserati cars which is very likely to include the brand new 3200 GT as well, Maserati's new sports coupe that has had its world premier at the recent Paris Motor Show.

The aaa will be open daily from 9.00 h through 18.00 h. The entry fee will be 17,-DM for adults, the reduced rate for children, students etc. will be 10,-DM.
