| Guides can be retrieved from the horizontal and vertical ruler using the cursor. The ruler has to be active, this can be specified in the "Preferences menu". Guides help to layout a page, they show the absolute location and the distance to the next guides. They can be moved and be deleted, they are maneuvered with the cursor or via dialogs from the context menu. Guide settings can be saved and restored via the Guides dialog which can be found in the context menue, right mouse click on a guide or on the background. |
| Position objects Position the guides, snap the images to the required position and then drag a corner handle of an image until it snaps to the guide. |
