The gathering came to a close on the Sunday with a multi marque
concours and lunch in the ballroom at the renowned Mar-A-Lago
Club on Palm Beach shores. Here, together with a number of
Ferraris from the previous day, there was a fine selection of other
automobiles. These included an Alfa Romeo TZ, Aston Martins,
Bentleys, Jaguars in the form of XK 120 and E Types, a 1929
Packard Custom Eight, Rolls Royces, and a unique 1948
Vauxhall Roadster Prototype, to name but a few. The Best of
Show award deservedly went to a spectacular black 1938 Delage
D8S Letourneur et Marchand Aerodynamic Coupé, owned by the
Patterson Collection in Kentucky. |
