Beaulieu International Autojumble

“The Beaulieu International Autojumble is the largest of its kind in Europe, with probably only Hershey in the USA being on a larger scale. Now in its 41st year, the venue has constantly attracted vendors and buyers from all corners of the globe, with a smaller scale Spring gathering added in recent years to cope with the demand for space. Visitors have the choice of around 2000 stalls selling virtually every conceivable item related to motoring, from spare parts through books, brochures, scale models and ephemera, to a wide selection of some 200 complete classic cars in the Automart car corral, together with a Bonham’s auction.

With fine weather over the weekend, the two day event attracted the usual large crowds to seek out that elusive widget or sprocket, and with a gathering of this magnitude you really do need two days to see everything on offer. A bonus for family visitors is that entry to the National Motor Museum, which hosted a "Supercar Exhibition" and Palace House and Gardens is included in the entry fee, so that the “significant other” and children have attractions to occupy them, while the male of the species busies himself with the automobilia.”
