Sweden welcomes Ferrari 60 Relay

Stockholm, 2nd May 2007 - The Swedish event started at the Swedish Ferrari dealer with the handover of the baton, while the Italian Embassador was presented with a gift. Over 80 cars, amongst them around 10 historical models, were present when the precious baton was passed on. The car's parade through the city started at around 11am, when the Tour left behind the F430 with Stefan Nils Edwin Johansson, the former driver of the Scuderia Ferrari, behind the wheel.

Once the cars had arrived at the embassy a photograph of the great Chris Hammon at the Monaco GP of the year 1967 was handed over to the ambassador, followed by the cars driving through the city centre. Eventually the 80 cars arrived at the Royal Palace and crowded the square in front of it. Before the guests took part in the cocktail party at the Italian ambassador's residence, they were all present at the lunch and the following press conference. In the evening the cocktail party was followed by a gala dinner in honour of the annyversary of Ferrari.

Anders Kihlstrand, Vanja Hellberg and Felix Winqvist were so kind to provide the images from Stockholm, many thanks.
