Maranello, 6 June 2022

80 Ferrari Monzas from more than twenty nations will take part in the first edition of Cavalcade Icona, an exclusive event open only to these limited series vehicles inspired by evocative masterpieces in the history of the Prancing Horse.
The Cavalcade will bring together such a large collection of the two models for the first time. Unveiled in 2018, the Monza SP1 and SP2 are the forerunners of the “Icona” line which celebrates Ferrari’s tradition with timeless design, reinterpreted in line with the most innovative technologies and materials.

The event, which will take place from 11 to 16 June, will depart from Milan, with the final stage held at Fiorano, a symbolic location for the racing spirit of the Maranello-based company. The Cavalcade will take clients and collectors from all over the world to the heart of Ferrari’s history, to the circuit where Enzo’s sporting adventure unfolded – an adventure which sparks the passion of many millions of fans today.

In the three preceding days, the crews will discover other locations that are a key part of the Ferrari tradition, including the Monza circuit, cities of art and culture like Bergamo and Cremona, and the evocative landscapes of Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands.

Every day will bring events to the cities the Cavalcade crosses that showcase this traveling show. Highlights include an exhibition of vehicles in the historic piazzas of Bergamo, Cremona and Stresa, parades of cars along the banks of Lake Maggiore and the lakes of Varese, a visit to the Ducal Palace of Colorno, near Parma, and an exhibition held in front of the Modena Military Academy.
